Assassin Creed 3 was announced only 3 weeks ago and it has already smashed the Pre-sale records ten times the amount of its predesecor Assassin Creed Revelations. It looks like Ubisoft Montreal is set to have a huge hit on their hands and in our opinions a definite contender for Game of the Year.

Tony Key, Ubisoft’s senior vice president of sales and marketing made this comment earlier:

“On October 30th players will experience the biggest game launch in Ubisoft’s history with the highly anticipated release of Assassins Creed III. With a development cycle of three years, Assassins Creed III is the true next-generation experience of the Assassins Creed brand. The production value of the game, combined with the biggest marketing commitment we’ve ever made, will make Assassins Creed III the highest-selling Assassin’s Creed game ever.”

Pre-order incentives?

GameStop and Amazon in german have been teasing gamers with tantalizing Pre Order bonuses. Below are some images which we have found, Details about what you are viewing can be seen below.

• A Redcoat multiplayer package, which includes a redcoat skin, a snake emblem, and a “doctor doll” relic (Gamestop exclusive).
• A single-player package including the “captain” assassin uniform and a hand axe used for boarding ships (Amazon).
• A single player package including a “traditional” colonial assassin’s uniform and brass-handled flintlock pistol (Amazon).

It is safe to assume that there will be a whole heap of pre order bonuses advertised over the coming months which will make us scream in excitement.

One of the incentives to get excited about is the hook blade, which we assume like Revelation this will allow you to extend your reach and see you flinging yourself through town from building to building. but should this really b e a preorder bonus, all we know is we want it.

Just in case you didn’t already know, AC III is set for release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October the 31st of this very year.
