The Wii U will be released just in time for Christmas, according to an Amazon Germany listing which is not surprising since there is always a hype at Christmas time for new technology.
Nintendo‘s new platform will reportedly launch on December 21, costing €399 which is approximately £322/$506. The same date is given for launch titles Zombi U and Rayman Legends, both of which are priced at €69.99 – approximately £56/$88.
The console has previously been rumored for a November release: firstly by Ubisoft at the E3 Gaming Expo, and secondly through a leaked Black Ops 2 listing but only time will tell. Since this has not been confirmed by Nintendo themselves expect this to change any time soon.
