Lollipop Chainsaw sees players tackle a horde of the undead as a cheerleader armed with a chainsaw and a very skimpy outfit .
The hack-and-slash action game is being developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, with Suda 51 acting as creative director on the project.
The studio has worked on previous titles such as No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned.
Lollipop Chainsaw launches today in North America, and June 15 throughout Europe for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
